My Philosophy

When I was grieving, well-meaning people who sincerely cared about me told me, “It just takes time.” And so I waited … and waited … and waited. Time passed— but it did not heal my grief. “It just takes time” is a tragic myth.
It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Grief can knock people lastingly below their former happiness level. In his extensive research on adaptation, psychologist Dr Edward Diener discovered two life events that devastate happiness for years: loss of a spouse and loss of a job. It typically takes five to eight years for a widow to regain her former sense of well-being, as reported in TIME magazine on January 17, 2005. Five to eight years is too long! It’s not your fault. You simply don’t know how to release your grief and haven’t been taught what to do, or how to release your grief more quickly.
My Methods
The process I developed is the F.L.O.W Method,
Just as 30 minutes is ample time for you to take a shower and get clean, it doesn’t mean that you will only ever need to take one shower in your entire life, grief relief works the same way. If you are grieving, I recommend that you spend 30 minutes every day using the F.L.O.W Method together with the support of Living Beyond Grief and Loss.

My Goals

The cost of suffering from grief is staggering.
Joy, health, vitality, relationships, creativity, productivity, clarity and prosperity all suffer. Not to mention, your self-esteem and self worth. The Wall Street Journal reported that the workplace cost of grief is $ 75 billion per year in the US due to lost productivity, accidents, and absenteeism. That’s just in the workplace. What is it costing you personally with depression, isloation and broken family and friend connections. Chronic stress from grief can prematurely age your cells by a decade, yes 10 years. It can even trigger death.
Knowing that millions of people suffer from grief for years, I was driven to find a solution. It inspired me to devote many years to studying happiness, joy and grief recovery.
It motivated me to create Living Beyond Grief and Loss and inspired me to create a mentoring recipe to accelerate your grief healing process. I don’t want widows to suffer one minute longer than necessary. I am sure you don’t want to stay feeling like
